See, this is why Carolla's stupid rant made me mad. Carolla always leaves out the part where you have to drive to some warehouse in the middle of nowhere California at specific times of his convenience to do his podcast... where he records the pod is 35-40 mins from me. Also, he made it seem like his podcast is doing better numbers than mine and it's not true - my download numbers are better than his. His ITunes ranking is higher because that's how people consume his pod. People consume mine from ESPN.com. I would take the Pepsi Download challenge against him any time. And also, I wasn't banned. So other than that, he made some solid points.

I find the numbers thing hard to believe and kinda immature, he himself stated how superior Adam's numbers were, I think Adam actually has more DL's through his site than itunes, that's why the itunes stats are off.

Is this really from Simmons, I mean it sounds like him I guess but it's awful mean spirited, maybe he doesn't want to do the show to improve Adam's numbers and wants his voice only heard on his show?

A 40min drive is that big of a deal for a buddy and an open possibly larger/different audience to hear your inane bullshit, really?

It's not like he's a weekly guest, he's been on what 2-3 times now?

Yeah I just saw that as well... Who to believe? Didn't Simmons say on the first podcast he appeared on that he felt like he had a small penis because Adam's Podcast was destroying his?

Now all of a sudden he is getting more downloads.. Very Fishy to me.

Yeah, plus how does "Hey man, that drive is a little too long" translate into Adam believing Simmons and Dameshek had been banned? Obviously something happened. Otherwise Adam would have gone on a similar rant about NBC banning Baldwin.

It's been out on the internet for at least a week that Ace is wrong on this rant.

He's now getting "Adam is Adam" just like Manny.

Ouch. The truth is not going to sit well with Adam.

Maybe he should go after Chris Rock some more?

Why would he be mad at Adam's rant? Adam didn't say anything bad about Bill except for perhaps underrating the popularity of his podcast. He clearly has no beef with Bill, to the contrary, he's pissed that he can't get him on the show.

I like Adam better than Simmons, but Simmons is correct here.

Simmons's numbers kill Adam, sorry, but it's true. He's on ESPN, for god sakes - and he has a lick of skill, so that means he has a built in audience plus a following of semi-intelligent readers/listeners.

Adam and T didn't lie, Adam was being delusional and T was sucking whoever was put in her face (adam and Simmons).

I think Adam should set the record straight on his podcast or he is just like the pussies he pretends to fight.

I believe Simmons is voicing what a lot of Adam's cronies are thinking...

Adam is kind of in a world of his own, howlng at the moon, facts be damned.

Burning bridges seems to have become his pastime...

How else to explain the invisiblity of many of his old chums, including Larry Miller, Mchale, gould, Jay Mohr, etc.

Adam's ego is writing checks his podcast can't cash.

Lets read between the lines here fellas...

If Simmons' boss comes in and says "Bill if you go on Carollas podcast again you're fired" That would be banned.

If the boss comes in and says, 'we'd rather you not go on Carolla's podcast, and oh look your contract is up for renewal at the end of this year, keep that in mind" its TECHNICALLY not banned but has the same effect.

Yeah that's right Bill told T that when he saw her in person at Starbucks or wherever, he blurted the ban thing out to her right, I'm not 100% positive of how it was worded on that ACP but she mentioned it before Adam did right?


This is all so odd and ridiculous, Bill hosts a fine show it's his thing I enjoy it, I enjoy hearing Adam on his show and I like hearing bill on the ACP but these are some really shitty things to say, especially if he's just mad that Adam made some minor private ESPN nonsense public and doesn't want it known how reigned in he is by ESPN, I like the behind the scenes stuff, so does Bill he admits it all the time why should he be privy to all sorts of behind the scenes workings on shows he doesn't work for or have involvement in but its somehow taboo for his off air stuff to be brought up?
